Hacked.

Have you noticed lately how the Post-Gazette’s site keeps getting hung up or something?  It actually went down for a bit last night and then this morning, it is very clear that someone has hacked into their site and totally screwed with the weather forecast:

IT’S FRICKIN’ OCTOBER!  I [...]

1. Windy!
2.  Today is a great day here in the Burgh because it looks like fall.  I can’t explain it; you have to see it.  Maybe it’s the way the clouds are shaped, stacked high, haphazardly.  A ribbon of light on the horizon.  Or their odd colors with the grey meshing with the purple contrasting [...]

1.  Dear Rain, thank you for waiting four weeks until just the right moment that you could catch me on the streets of the Burgh without an umbrella.  Well played, sir.  Well played.
2.  It is imperative, you wordsmiths out there, and I’m looking at you Chad Hermann because you might quit us, but we don’t [...]

1. Today is a beautiful day here in the Burgh. Like one of those days where you stare out your window at the office and wonder how much trouble you would get into if you ran screaming out the door like Calvin all, “This is the only life I’ve got!”
2. An email [...]

1.  I’m kind of ready for Fall.  Don’t throw things at me.  It’s just that yesterday I was getting caught up on So You Think You Can Dance (what?) and Kat Deely was wearing a long-sleeved black dress, and all I could think of was how excited I’ll be to pull out my black turtleneck [...]

1. People, friends, Burghers, my loves, I have lots of emails to respond to (I’m looking at you, Goob, Tracy, Kathleen, DW, and maybe 400 more), and I’m going to get to them. Watch your email boxes.
2. OMG. Srsly. Matt Capps. Inventing new ways to blow saves. Can [...]

Today was an early day to head out of downtown, and as luck would have it I happened to need to leave my office at exactly the same time that the HAND OF GOD CAME DOWN TO BITCH SLAP ME WITH A MONSOON.
I mean seriously. Bitch slapped me with a monsoon.
The wind was so [...]

1. If I’m making any part of this up, may a pigeon poop on my new handbag while I’m waiting for the bus. Yesterday I headed to Sister of PittGirl’s house for a relaxing swim and maybe for some tanning. At one point Sister and I were sitting in the shade under a [...]

1. Good cold I’m actually wearing a sweater, wool pants and do-me boots this morning because someone decided to play a real nice cosmic meteorological practical joke on Al Gore by having a high of 55 degrees at the end of May while he’s in the city talking about the horrors wrought by some [...]

1.  A conversation between PittGirl and Sister of PittGirl:
[picking up a copy of James Frey's A Million Little Pieces that is lying on Sister of PittGirl's table] What’s this, Sister of PittGirl?
Oh, PittGirl, that is a great book about –
It’s lies, you know?  All lies.
I know, but some of it is based in fact and–
Lies, [...]
